”You’ve GOT to be kidding me?” you might be saying.
 No, I’m not.
If we’re going to honor the dead, those who according to the official stories fought the hijackers, perhaps we should have as many memorials for those who ignored warnings, like one claiming bin Laden was determined to hit us. Perhaps we should have a memorial also dedicated to those who died after being exposed due to a vengeful, traitorous, act of revealing the agent working with them. Maybe, just maybe, we should have part of those memorials honoring the innocents who died due to wars started with cherry picked “evidence,” and especially those who died looking for WMD while their president mocked them, thinking it “funny” to go looking for evidence where none existed.
 How fitting.
What about honoring all who died because they were told the air was safe on 9/11? Or how about the former mayor putting the office that would handle emergencies in one of the buildings hit so he could meet up with his mistress? Well, “meet up with her” until he brought her home to live with his kids and, now, former wife.
 What a “hero.”
I wouldn’t include any of the more edgy claims, like conspiracy theories about the towers collapsing, terrorist IDs found: unmolested, atop wreckage of the towers, claims about something other than planes hitting the towers, or controlled demolitions. I wouldn’t even include Cheney running a “fake” attack at the same time.
No, I would hang closer to another conspiracy theory: the official one. For no matter how you cut it, this was a conspiracy. And simply because the government accepts it doth not make it not a theory: anymore than Evolution Theory isn’t, in the scientific sense of “theory.”
But I might include one prevalent social dynamic: if someone questions the official story, attempting to humiliate them, or shout them, insult them, into silence is so common. And show how it’s counter productive.
Like Columbus and our wars as immigrants with the real, original, (Native) Americans, 9/11 has been settling into the bad side of myth ever since, well, 9/11. It has taken centuries to dig ourselves out of the slaughter, the genocide, we so eager ignore, maybe even embrace.
We need to get ahead of the curve, or at least far less behind may be more accurate.
And maybe, just maybe, we could frame them as memorials to fake history: mocking our tendency to turn our own blood drenched history into lies for our own convenience. And to show our even handedness there could be a statue you see as you walk in…
