The Professor tried to find label for me and his camera is busted, so you’ll have to be satified with the logo. We tried this beer quite a while ago. One site I visited claimed it was “weak on hops,” though this style of beer tends to be a bit more lawnmower. White usually means “witte,” or wheat for the beer and language challenged.

I tend to not like wheat beers but I remember us liking this a lot more than most wheat based beers. Think Hoegaarden, Sam Adams White, Allagash White and Coors White (OK, if you insist: Blue Moon.) Often this style has spices like corriander, but as I recall this one wasn’t spiced but very creamy and smooth: hazy as it most likely would be due to unresolved protein issues that wheat beer can have sometimes. A pleasant quaffe for light fare for sure. It’s the only lighter beer I know of on my best of shelf. And if it was a wheat beer, that a compliment. I usually dislike them, though I can judge them quite well. I’m also not a fan of the more lawnmower like beers. There’s some dynamic there. The more I like a beer the more I suspect my judging skills. Something about preconcieved notions and preferences in taste, I suppose.
