Caption Politico put below picture…

Al Franken isn’t doing much to stop partisans on the left from using a measure he sponsored to paint Republicans as rapist sympathizers. Photo: AP

Anyone else notice the intentional partisan framing here? Politico claims the only intent behind the measure was to “paint Republicans as rapist sympathizers.” That assumes Al knew how they would vote before they voted, and that it isn’t the Republicans who are painting themselves. They voted against a measure that might protect soldiers who were raped from having to go through arbitration, a process more favorable to those who should be responsible for the behavior of their own employees. And, to top it off, Al is suppose to go to every pundit on the net, in Congress and in the media and correct some supposed misperception?

Since I’m neither politician or journalist, and I am a columnist/partisan: Al might not be able to say it, but I will. Those who voted against this bill are voting pro-rape. They just don’t like having the light shined on their pro-rape vote. Keep shining the light Al. The roaches need to be scattered.

Here’s the article if you can stand this piss poor example of “journalism.”
