When we washed upon the shore
Learned to walk
Not swim
Did we wish to crawl back
into that wet womb?
Did we cry
Unto the dry
Less wet sky
Wishing we were blind
So we could not see
Reminded
Of what we lost
By the storms
Or beat down
by the wind
Burned
by fire
And the cruel insult
Irony:
Hard wet
Sleet

Predators
Were our only worry
Before
And that
Had not changed

Tossed upon the shore
We died
And were reborn
Mother water expelled us
From our wet Nirvana
So we might embrace
Mother Earth

The bigger bitch
