Yesterday I was watching the Daily Show and they flashed all the networks leads about the changes in the military. FOX had a label in the background about like this, “Liberal Obama’s Idea of Changing the Military.”

Do they even pretend to be a “news” channel? I was surprised Stewart didn’t comment.

This morning Bill Press pointed out that when it came to protests during the Bush administration the major networks were either mum, or spent as little time as possible covering them. Not so with the teabaggers. The amount of coverage would translate into millions of dollars of free advertising.

Why don’t they just admit that their propaganda organs for the Reich?

Even with Fox News’ backing, I’ll bet these teabagging’ parties don’t collect more than 50,000 people total nationwide, and probably half of them will be paid to appear.

I heard that at some earlier tea party, the Republican ‘astroturf’ organization sponsoring the event went to a long line of the unemployed waiting to apply for a job and offered some of them $25 each to attend the tea party for a couple of hours and hold signs. This is the way they work. Meanwhile, over 2 million attended Obama’s inauguration, and they didn’t have to be bribed to show up.

Since the average audience age of right-wing media is now 67, they’d better have some EMT’s and medical facilities standing by, not to mention Depends.
