As the U.S. Congress prepares to certify the results of the 2020 election in just a few days, the majority of its Republican members are openly condoning Donald Trump’s outrageous and undemocratic efforts to flip the results — and some of them are actively working to incite violence on his behalf.

Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX), already infamous for his racism and his extremism, publicly called for violence if the courts refuse to give Donald Trump the presidency in an appearance on Newsmax this weekend. Gohmert filed a last-ditch lawsuit that essentially argued that Vice-President Mike Pence had the power to overturn the election results.

Unsurprisingly, the judge did not agree and threw out the lawsuit on Friday night, claiming that Gohmert and his cronies did not have any legal standing for the case.
