The next General Club meeting will be at Brews Brothers 4:00pm on Sunday February 21st. Brews Brothers is under new management and John (new owner) seems like he wants us to have more meetings/functions there. We’ll see how things go.

Rick and Carol Monroe are hosting a Baby Beer Shower for Mike and Amy Helf on Saturday February 6th. RSVP ASAP if you plan to attend (RSVP me Rick & Carol!!!). I’m not sure how these Baby Beer Showers work but I’m sure there’s beer and food involved. Bring beer and something for a baby? See Carol’s email to all you club members from January 25th

February 12th is the next Hot Glass Cold Brew event (I have committed to the February, April & December Belmont events). We may start brewing at the Belmont Art Center on a more regular basis in the near future. We are currently meeting with them regarding a fenced off area inside the facility to store equipment and brew club beer. Of course they would expect our participation in the Hot Glass events in return (I like doing that anyway!).
February 18th is the next Thursday Brewer’s meeting
February 20th is the next General Club Meeting
March 20th in the Saint Patty Day party at Mark Robertson’s house (This will serve as our March Club Meeting)
March 20th is the Club-Only Stout competition judging at Mark’s party.

Please let me know if you plan to donate beer to the February Hot Glass Cold Brew event. Bring beer to everything and brew it if you can!

Hey All,

We’re getting down to the wire, so break out those brew kettles and get ready for our first ( for this year) club only beer competition! Here’s the details:

When: March 13th
Where: Mark Robertson’s, Club’s St. Patrick’s Day Party
What: Your best homebrewed stout!

Amount: Any amount you wish; bottle, growler, a 5 gal. corny keg… just keep in mind that this will be a ‘people’s choice’ award for the winning entry, so you’ll want to have enough so everyone can get a taste. Winner or Winner’s will be announced at the party!

Questions??- drop me an email

Cheers- Gary

Mythical poster at The LTS Good for What Ales You Beer Journal. Loves good beer. Hates same old, same old. Muses that Bud and Miller might as well be brewed in urinals. Drinks lagers too, if they are complex and interesting.
