I’d be curious what posters and writers here think of this. You’ll see my own opinion at the end of the article found at The Chimp.

So, what did you do for international Blasphemy Day? Sacrifice a virgin? Renounce the Holy Spirit? Perhaps you took a piss on hallowed ground?

For the uninitiated, Blasphemy Day is:

“…an international campaign seeking to establish September 30th as a national day to promote free speech and stand up in a show of solidarity for the freedom to mock and insult religion without fear of murder, violence, and reprisal…”

Does a Carman need an International Blasphemy Day? Most who know us would probably assume the world needs a day where we don’t. I thought we took it as kind of a moral responsibility – though we can sometimes be irresponsible with it too ;}
