This may have been Donald Trump’s worst week ever in the White House—or at least of his second term. Trump got absolutely pummeled over the past few days. Typically, this is the time in the fight when the trainer throws the white towel into the ring to stop the beating. But it the case of Trump, we can’t stop punching!

These “punches” in Trump’s face that I’ve been covering in his second term truly matter. They are inspiring. Plus—importantly—they knock Trump off his planned agenda and create a media narrative that hurts both him and the GOP. So let’s cover what we saw over the past five days.

First, Vladimir Putin “punched” the crap out of Trump. Trump’s summit was a failure on every level.

For starters, in advance of the meeting, Trump declared he was convinced that Putin wants to “make a deal.” Enroute to Alaska, Trump even stated on Fox News with his patent faux bravado that “I won’t be happy” if Putin doesn’t agree to a ceasefire. And, of course, Trump campaigned on ending this war in “24 hours” if he won the election.

But Trump failed…miserably. In fact, Putin won even before the summit started. There was Trump shortly before the meeting literally having U.S. troops on their knees rolling out the red carpet for Putin. Meanwhile, Trump could not walk in a straight line on his own red carpet. (See real clip below)

Before you think I’m being petty by pointing that out, in reality it backs up what Dr. John Gartner of “Duty to Warn” explained to me recently. Gartner flagged that the change in Trump’s gait is “very diagnostic of a specific type of dementia known as frontotemporal dementia.”

Then it got worse for Trump. Not only was there no deal, but Putin stole the spotlight and showed the world who was the alpha male in this relationship at the press conference that followed. Typically, the leader of the nation where the summit is held speaks first at the press conference—as Putin knows. (This very point was made on air by a Fox News reporter.) But Putin showed he had no respect for Trump by stealing the opening comments from Trump. The Russian leader then peddled propaganda to the international media for nearly nine minutes.

A haggard Trump –who looked awful—only spoke for about three minutes where he had no choice but to concede on the world stage that he had failed saying, “There’s no deal.”

Want to know how objectively awful this was for Trump? Well, the Fox News reporter covering the summit even punched Trump in the face over his failure. Yep, Fox News Senior White House Correspondent Jacqui Heinrich told the Fox audience that “It did not seem like things went well, and it seemed like Putin came in and steamrolled… got right into what he wanted to say.” Wow, Fox News said Trump was “steamrolled” by Putin.

And then came a cascade of horrible reviews for Trump from the media for this debacle. This Wall Street Journal headline summed it up well: “Trump Rolled Out the Red Carpet for Putin. He Got Little in Return.” And CNN wrote“Putin’s wins leave Trump with hard choices.” While Russian state media saw this summit as a huge win for Russia.

This meeting went so badly for Trump that afterwards he had to immediately run to his safe space of Sean Hannity’s Fox News show where it actually got worse. Trump bragged that Putin backed up his claim that the 2020 election was filled with fraud and told him, “You won that election by so much.’” That exposed Trump to another wave of ridicule as we all saw that the former KBG officer Putin had clearly manipulated the pathetic Trump by telling him what he wanted to hear.

And just when you thought there’s no way this summit could result in more bad press for Trump, we learned Saturday morning that Trump’s team of the “best people” left documents behind in a printer at a local hotel that contained “potentially sensitive details.” Overall, this event alone saw Trump get punched over and over again in the face!

Then there was California Gov. Gavin Newsom—and a swath of California Democrats—who delivered a series of big punches in the face of the orange idiot. This came at the event Thursday announcing the new redistricting plan to counter the Texas GOP’s efforts to rig the 2026 election. As Senator Adam Schiff told the cheering crowd: “Donald Trump is terrified of facing voters in the midterms after taking away their food and healthcare, and failing to bring down prices.” He added, “California will not stand idly by while Donald Trump tries to dictate the result of the next election in advance!”

But the star of the event was Gov. Newsom who did not hold back in pummeling Trump as the wannabe dictator that he is. Newsom bluntly stated: “Wake up America. Wake up to what Donald Trump is doing. Wake up to his assaults. Wake up to the assault on institutions, knowledge and history. Wake up to his war on science and public health.” Newsom then added a line that may be his most vital as he slammed Trump’s “war against the American people.”

As I’ve been screaming for months in my articles and on my SiriusXM show, “We are at war!” Trump and MAGA don’t want to govern, they want to rule us as subjects.

Trump’s goal of creating a permanent majority by rigging the 2026 election is also why on Saturday we saw thousands of people in 34 cities punch Trump in the face with their “Fight the Trump Takeover” protests. These rallies ranged from California to New York City—with more than 5,000 in Austin, Texas alone.

Saturday’s protest in Wash DC.

We’ve seen countless anti-Trump protests over the past few months from the mammoth “No Kings” rallies that saw millions take to the streets to the ones this past weekend. But where are the pro-Trump protests? No where!

And don’t expect any pro-Trump rallies in the near future given Trump’s approval rating are hitting new lows. A new Pew Poll released Thursday found Trump’s approval fell to 38 percent! But the key metric in these polls—as I always note–is comparing “strongly approve” versus “strongly disapprove” because that is where your measure enthusiasm. People who strongly like or hate a president are the ones who vote in midterms, protest, volunteer on campaigns, etc.

So what percentage of Americans in this new Pew poll “strongly approve” of Trump? A pathetic 27 percent. What about strongly disapprove? 47 percent. That means nearly 50% of Americans are angry and disgusted with Trump compared to the 27% who love what he is doing. That 20 percent difference is a huge enthusiasm gap in favor of crushing Trump! And this Pew poll is not an outlier. Trump’s strongly disapprove numbers are also 20 points higher than strongly approve in recent YouGov and Reuters polls.

There are good and bad days in this war to save our democratic Republic from Trump. This past week was a great one for the forces of good!
