Point made. Irony being the reason the Romans came for him was Judas had told them he was claiming to be the Messiah. According much of Jewish thought at the time the Messiah, with his followers, would violently overthrow the Empire. But that is NOT what Jesus taught. (“Render unto Caesar” and telling his disciple to stand down when the disciple cut an ear to stop them from taking Jesus.)
