We have been told to trust so many times, like Musk and DOGE. Never an ounce of proof any of that was waste. Obviously done to financially benefit Nazi saluting Musk and his sycophants.
Trump said no new wars. Now we have a new war. And like elections, Trump rigged Afghanistan so the Taliban would be given the biggest base and the weapons within. Early indications these guys SUCK at wars and betray the very people we were supposed to be defending. Like the afghanis, who were not allowed in on what were laughingly called “negotiations.” More a giveaway to the Taliban.
How are we to trust you?
Trump said it would be the most violent among the undocumented. Far, far more than just that. It’s rounding up people to satisfy a huge quota: never a good thing when authorities put huge quotas over such promises. Snatching people out of communities due to mere accusation, offering no due process. Some who have been better, more productive citizens, than some of us whose families go back centuries. Even if they were undocumented, you’d think they’d work with them because they are trying to be good Americans. No, all that matters is the quota.
Just down the road from where we live an immigrant worked at a small grocery store. He told me he’d never be snatched because, “I did it right, all the paperwork and I paid them $20,000.” Now he’s gone, whisked away, the bribe meaning nothing in the face of the quota.
One should be reminded Nazi Germany had, not one blanket quota, but various quotas for Jews: deportation quotas, quotas for needed forced labor concentrating on Jews, the goal for the “final solution:” 11 million European Jews.
But the camps didn’t start with extermination. The stated goal was resettlement, essentially deportation. Trump’s started with not just deportation but deportations to prisons in countries where those prisons were becoming death camps. Much like where Trump sent people snatched by ICE, some who were LEGALLY here.

Eventually the concentration camps; soon to be death camps, headed towards mass genocide. Not just jews, those deemed racially impure, those who weren’t loyal, didn’t want to be Nazis, those who opposed him. Disagreeing became a death sentence.
Trump retweeted, “The only good Democrat is a dead Democrat.” Referred to them as “the enemy within,” a phrase used in the same sense by Hitler. “They’re Marxists and communists and fascists, and they’re sick.”
Heading down so similar a path… how are we to trust you?
During the first Trump administration children, separated from their parents, were shoved into semi trailers in hot summer sun to die. Now, as if trying to beat Hitler’s record, Trump is trying to have concentration camps made out of old warehouses where tens of thousands will be interned: far beyond any reasonable figure for undocumented or even documented immigrants. Deaths of migrants in ICE custody hit record high under Trump.
One indicator is how those with documentation have been spirited away, especially those who “offense” was as a LEGAL immigrant protested the administration. As death rates rise how far are we from the ovens at Auschwitz, Dachau, Chelmno, Belzec, Treblinka…? If we too are the “enemy,” only worthy of dying, sure seems the rhetoric is propelling us down the same path.
Then we have the horrible conditions at German Death Camps.
And Trump’s camps: meet Rodney Taylor: : amputee forced to crawl through feces to shower.
There’s so much to this “How are we to trust you?” question…
He promised the White House wouldn’t be touched for his vanity ballroom project. YEAH… RRRIIIGGGHHHHTTTT.
How are we to trust you?
More secure after the recent shooting? For years he boycotted the event, and when he finally goes a shooting happens? Odd, at best. Never had a security problem like this before: multiple presidents from both sides of the aisle.
This is the very short list. There’s is a one hell of a long list of, “How are we to trust you?” However, I keep thinking he doesn’t care if we trust him, he wants us to fear him. I refuse to give this 12-year-old bully in an aged man’s body the satisfaction.
