Is anyone else sick of living in “unprecedented times”? I know I am, but for those old enough to remember stuff (but who too often no longer can) it might be time to check our memories of just how unprecedented these Trump times really are. When it comes to stupidity or Americans being lied to by their leaders, it can be damned hard to distinguish right now from back then.

Let’s face it, folks, we live in a nation not really known for its love of reading, ideas, or thinking much. We’re not really all that keen on truth, justice, and the American way, apparently. Trump proudly proclaims that he “loves the poorly educated,” but he isn’t the first American leader to win votes and influence people by saying lots of stupid shit.
