You know the president claims to be such a good deal maker let’s make a deal!
Allow Canada and Greenland to become 51 and and 52, but first we’d have to sweeten the pot for both and Denmark.
I have a feeling with a sweet enough pot Canada and Greenland might just agree.
I know, I know, I think the whole routine is idiotic, wrong on so many levels and shows how desperate Trump is to become a dictator of his own empire. I know neither will ever happen. But it’s fun to ponder possibilities, right? Even when there’s no chance in hell?
Before any of this happens binding agreements must not just be signed but backed up by the military. Signed by both. And any violation not only negates the deal but he who has been demanding it loses his presidency: impeachment automatic and both parties agree to result. He’s gone, arrested, tried and goes through due process.
Supreme Court can go pound sand with sharp shards of broken glass in it…
Here’s the deal. Residents of both countries become citizens of the US, all can vote: no purges, no ID games, no gerrymandering, polls in all cities, in all of the country. Mail in and drop box voting. NO GAMES LIKE WE’VE SEEN IN THIS COUNTRY.
Once again: any violation and the Mounties get to arrest those who violate. Any resistance to pre-agreed on terms handled strictly. The Mounties remain the Mounties. No Doge-like attempts to corrupt or ruin them, OR ANYTHING. Doge banned from both states.
I would recommend a new presidential election because THEY DIDN’T VOTE FOR HIM. Another deal breaker with serious consequences.
I mean, he’s so damn sure he’s right, so loved, what could go wrong?
OK, OK, I KNOW will never happen. But neither should his wet dreams of being dictator over the country as it is, not to mention all of North America. But imagine what would happen to his candidacy if this DID happen and any violation of terms were handled quick and so sternly?
Is his ego big enough he might think he’d win more elections if such a deal was made?
Sometimes I think so.
