“Vertical Morality: the duties and responsibilities we have to a higher power.”

Vertical Morality is nothing more than the old “Divine Right of Kings” in a different package, sold as the word of God to those without direction or self-ownership. What troubles me most is that, although I’m not an atheist, I look past society’s concept of God in religion. There is an overarching intelligence behind everything, but we as religious game players hide behind dogma and faith in what we are old. These charlatans cannot honestly believe in their concept of an all-seeing and knowing because they do awful things, and must believe their version of God is blind and stupid because it can’t see through them.
